April 20 (Reuters) - Salvatore Ferragamo SpA Chief Directorship Officer Michele Norsa said sales of handbags, the luxury shoemaker and links to stores without fees are suffering as the cloud of volcanic ash components airports across the Europe.
"I'm opening for concern because it is an important week," said a Norsa about yesterday, referring to the niche Japanese Golden Week public, beginning at the end of this month it. "The people are returned and are therefore not going into stores."
Ferragamo, based in Florence, Italy, has about 130 stores of deference for free worldwide, accounting for between 10 percent and 11 percent of annual sales, Norsa said. The airports have been blocked in the region after the volcano erupted Eyjafjallajökull April 14, the best to cancel 81,000 flights.
